Sri Venkatachalapthy Polytechnic College has a placement cell which arranges campus interview by inviting various companies to hire the students. It also sends students to off campus interviews. The cell offers the students career guidance and help in getting a job that suits the student’s skill and preferences. Our college records the highest number of Campus Interviews and Placement in the state.

The Training and Placement cell consists of the following members:

• To communicate to various industries regarding training and placement activity.
• To arrange for tie up between industry and institute for mutual benefits.
• To maintain staff and student database required for training and placement.
• To keep a track record of students placed in industry.
• To communicate with alumni and hold the meetings with alumni association to seek their help and support for training and placement.
• To arrange for industrial training for staff in the respective field.
• To arrange training for desirous students in industry in respective field.
• To arrange seminar / workshop for students on general topics like personality development, stress management, discipline and behavior etc.,
• To arrange the campus placement for students from companies.
• To arrange off campus placement for students.
• To provide the guidance to the students for self employment.
• To keep the record of all activities done by Training and Placement cell.
